Breaking News: Hurricane Joaquin Seriously
Threatens East Coast & US Gov Prep Website Suicide [REVIEW]
Hurricane Joaquin is racing for the US East Coast and NE USA and you should
start to get prepared for it. COMPLETE How to classes on everything
preparedness are at
http://www.Steven1234.com and are all from me, Steven Harris,
and they are all DO IT NOW with WHAT YOU GOT or can EASILY
GET classes. Especially the Family Food and Water Class. The
How to Power Your House From Your Car Class, everything is from Walmart.
Want a personal battery bank like I have at
http://www.Battery1234.com ? Yes, you guessed it, its all at Walmart.
Now if you want to see just how BAD the information your USA Government is
giving you regarding preparedness, then read on, its utterly shocking.
Yesterday, Sept 30th 2015 was National Preparedness Day here in the USA. A
day when you are suppose to check your preparedness, look
at the utter JOKES that Ready.gov or Redcross.gov or CDC.gov are and make
yourself prepared. Here is some of the stupidity they vomit on
you and then I'll tell you where to get real preparedness information that
REALLY WORKS that YOU CAN USE NOW before Hurricane Joaquin threatens you.
I'm going to show you how your government is even more incompetent at
preparedness than they are at medicine.
FROM THE READY.GOV WEBSITE: Your basic Preparedness Kit.
From Ready.gov: Water,
one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and
sanitation
From Steve: Great, 1 gallon per person per day. Don't bother
telling you that in the desert southwest in the summer that this could be 2 to 5
gallons per day. Do they tell you how to store it? No they don't.
Do they tell you that a clean unscented trash bag in a pillow case is a great
way to carry water. nope. Do they tell you that you can take a trash bag
and put it in a drawer on the floor and store lots of water really quickly??
Nope. They do not. Do they tell you that 5 gallon water jugs are at
walmart or that even 5 gallon buckets for 3 bucks at home depot will work great.
Nope... they leave you with nothing except saying "have 1 gallon of water
per person per day." Its so simple to give good advice and they give
you nothing. I talk extensively on how to store water in
improvised methods really quickly, I mean 100 gallons of water in 30 minutes,
in my Free Family Food and Water Prep Class at
http://www.Steven1234.com and at
http://www.BeforeTheStormHits.com
From Ready.gov: Food, at least a three-day supply of
non-perishable food
From Steve: Gee...what type of food. What type of food is
non-perishable?? people have no clue, MTV does not teach this stuff.
Do they tell you that dried food sealed in a zip lock bag is light weight and
full of calories ?? nope. Do they even tell you what type of canned food
to get ?? nope. Pork and beans? Beans? Soups? What ? what ?
What should I get. How about how to heat it up? Do I want a stove to
heat it up? Do I want even an esbit stove to do this ? No
clue, no advice. You're on your own. Want to know how to
make food fast, its in my Free Family Food and Water Prep Class at
http://www.Steven1234.com and at
http://www.BeforeTheStormHits.com
and I have some great little stoves (including the esbits) at
http://www.Prep1234.com
From Ready.gov: Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a
NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert and extra batteries for both
FROM Steve: oh lord one of the worst things that could be a plague on
you is one of those damn crank up radios. Talk about pieces of CRAP
JUNK. They will break on you in the first 5 minutes of cranking, and
then you have nothing, and you don't want a damn NOAA weather radio, the
government thinks you should be listening to their government weather service
but I sure as hell don't think you should. I think you want NEWS RADIO
about the storm or the incident. What good is a friggin NOAA weather
radio going to do for you during a 9/11 attack??? Tell you that its a
clear blue sky. Great, clear blue sky and 4 planes attacked 3 major
buildings. You want an AM / FM Radio !!! Again, you really want an
AM/FM Radio that runs on D Cell Batteries and you want D Cell Duracell Alkaline
Batteries and you want to have a spare set of them as well. I have
EVERYTHING you could want to know about radios at
http://www.Radios1234.com
From Ready.gov: Flashlight and extra batteries
FROM Steve: This has to be the most stupid of all of the
advice from the website. Is it so damn hard to say, "Have an LED
Flashlight that takes D Cell Duracell Alkaline Batteries and have extra of the
same batteries" One piece of advice tells you exactly what to
get and what will give you hundreds of hours of light and one leaves you looking
at the flashlights at walmart wondering what to do. Yeah...if you don't
tell people what to get they'll get a regular bulb AA flashlight and some 'heavy
duty' batteries that will end up lasting them 30 minutes and then they are in
the cold and the darkness. I have an excellent selection of flash
lights and head lamps and lanterns that use everything from AAA, to AA to D Cell
batteries at http://www.Solar1234.com
and at http://www.Prep1234.com and I
tell you how and why each light is useful and what place in your preps they
should fill. I even tell you about having lithium batteries, alkaline
batteries and NiMH rechargable batteries. If you have the NiMH Batteries I
suggest on solar1234.com and the charger I suggest and an inverter for your car
you'll have an unlimited source of AA batteries for your head lamps and
flashlights for the entire blackout. On
http://www.Prep1234.com I get
into the much newer, and much better, Lithium-Ion 18650 and 14500 batteries.
These batteries are the future and I talk about them in detail with how's and
why's.
From Ready.gov: First aid kit
FROM Steve: They don't tell you one damn thing to get for a first
aid kit. I guess you should get the 10 buck one at Walmart from Johnson
and Johnson and its basically full of different band-aids. Do they
bother to tell you that the number one thing that will get hurt on you first and
make your mobility miserable is a scrape, cut or rash or blister on your skin?
No... they don't. That having tape and moleskin and other padding for
areas of your skin are very important let alone a disinfectant for any skin
wounds or scrapes that can easily get infected from being in a dirty disaster
environment. Do you want a first aid class that the redcross and the
government will NEVER EVER give you ?? Take my first aid class and see a
good hundred items I have listed there for you to look at and decide if they
should be in your first aid kit. My detailed first aid class is at
http://www.FirstAid1234.com
FROM READY.gov: Whistle to signal for help
FROM Steve: What type of whistle? A metal one, a plastic one,
one with a 'pea' in it? What whistles work the best and are the most
durable and where do you get them? I don't have a class on whistles...but
I'll tell you to just get the standard metal whistle with the 'pea' in it like a
referee would use. They won't crush or break and anyone listening
knows that the sound of that whistle, is a whistle and it means someone is
blowing it for assistance.
FROM READY.gov: Dust mask to help filter contaminated air
and plastic sheeting and duct tape to shelter-in-place
FROM Steve: They don't even bother to tell you that you use the
duct tape and plastic to seal up your windows and doors and they don't bother to
even tell you that you do this in a chemical or biological situation. I
guess they really don't want to 'scare' you.
FROM READY.gov: Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic
ties for personal sanitation
FROM Steve: Wow...plastic bags for sanitation? Something to
take a dump into?? Do they bother to tell you how to get the water out of
your toilet bowel and to put the plastic bag into the toilet and to use it that
way?...and to have some kitty litter so you can cover up your business just like
a cat does? nope...they do not. Do they tell you to take a piss outside
every chance you can and not to put urine into the bag??? nope...they don't.
They just think you'll have perfect dumper duty with some plastic bags, plastic
ties and moist towelettes.
FROM READY.gov: Wrench or pliers to turn off utilities
FROM Steve: What utilities do I turn off with a wrench or
pliers?? Do I need it to turn off the electricity, do I need it to turn off
the gas, do I need it to turn off the city water ?? What if I have a water
well? Do I disconnect it? What if I have a propane tank for my
furnace do I turn off that gas?? if I do have to turn off any of these
where are they?? Which ones do I have to turn off ? Do I turn them
back on and how do I do it? Should only the utility turn back on my
natural gas due to possible damage to appliances? Will my hot water
heater and furnace work after I turn the gas off and then turn it back on.
Guess what....if you have a pilot light on any of those, it will be out and have
to be re-lit and that is not the easiest thing in the world to do because the
instructions on the furnace or water heater are not that perfect and turning
that knob to turn it to pilot, then holding down for a minute, then lighting the
pilot, and then to turn it to full on is not super easy.
FROM READY.gov: Manual can opener for food
FROM Steve: Gee guys...don't you think you should of listed this
one right after the food advice.
FROM READY.gov: Local maps
FROM Steve: A paper map?? What is a paper map? Where do
you even get these in the year 2015? If you are a member of AAA you
might be able to stop by a local office and get a local map. Barnes and
Noble tries to carry maps of the local area but in the generation of google maps
and smart phones, there are no more paper maps easily available. So if
you can't get a paper map, what good does it do for you and what does the
government want you to do with a paper map? They just say you should have
local maps and not why.
FROM READY.gov: Cell phone with chargers, inverter or
solar charger
FROM Steve: Again, more STUPIDITY from the government. Cell phone,
good idea, charger for phone (duh), no kidding, and an inverter. Many
people have no idea what an inverter is and what it will do for them, obviously
I advocate the use of an inverter A LOT....see my How to Power Your House From
Your Car class at http://www.Steven1234.com
and you WILL KNOW what an inverter is and how to use one like an expert.
Now the real STUPIDITY....the government says you should have a solar charger
for your phone. There is not a solar charger for a phone that is on
the market that is worth a damn. Many of them
would take a WEEK of sunshine to charge your phone, and that is
assuming your phone is off. Let alone during Super Storm Sandy we
had 11 straight days of ALL CLOUDS and NO SUNSHINE !!! How the
hell are you suppose to charger your cell phone when its cloudy ??? Answer
is, you can't. Not even a little bit. So a solar charger for your
cell phone is one of the most stupid items you could get. What you really
want is a LIME FUEL USB BATTERY that will charge your cell phone about 10 times,
that's how good it is. It only costs 30 bucks and its listed on
http://www.Prep1234.com
Would you buy a gun that only worked when the sun was shining ?? No...
you would not, so why would you buy something to allow your 'life line' and main
form of portable communications and information to only work when the sun was
out? The lime fuel battery will work at 3AM, in the dark, in the rain, and
it will charge your cell phone and keep it charged during your emergency.
Thank you for reading this far, it shows that you
are truly interested in preparedness and protecting your family.
